The foam hip belt and mesh back system are so comfortable this pack feels like its giving you a hug. The shoulder straps are close-set and the padded hip belt is very flexible, allowing you to get the weight just where you want it. Back system allows an excellent flow of air. It’s very roomy and three large stretch pockets and two zipped pockets on each hip fin are really useful. Loops on the shoulder straps are really handy for securing walking poles temporarily (ie when taking a photo). It doesn’t come with a rain cover, which some walkers will miss.
