Built with weight-saving firmly at the forefront, this pack tries to strike a balance between weight and function. Once on, the lightweight nature of its construction allows for a great freedom of movement, with the pack flexing and moulding to the lumbar region. It will let in a lot of rain, though, and when full of kit, it’s nowhere near as supportive as others on test as it lacks padding. Not recommended for a heavy loading.
