Berghaus Women’s Freeflow III

This 25-litre daysack from Berghaus uses the Freeflow concave back system, which is very comfortable and keeps you cool, even with a full load. We liked the dedicated women’s harness with its close-fitting, soft and narrow shoulder straps, and padded hip belt. A roomy main compartment and drawcord opening make the Freeflow easy to pack, and there are plenty of useful pockets, including a big one in the lid. Because the concave back system holds the load away from your back, it feels slightly less stable than some, but the design works so well to keep you cool, it’s hard to criticise. Some compression straps would be nice.
