Sprayway Solstice (2012)

£35.00

This base-layer is made from eco-friendly Cocona fabric, made from the activated carbon of recycled coconut shells. It’s really soft to the touch, and the activated carbon wicks away sweat very quickly indeed. It makes the fabric very breathable too. The carbon doesn’t do a lot to prevent bad odours, though – so unless you’re one of those women that ...

Sprayway Rio

£40.00

Classically designed trousers made from a polycotton fabric with a soft outer finish. The waist is semi-elasticated and comes with a belt so you can fine-tune things if needed. The fabric feels reassuringly tough, although there’s no stretch in it, so they’re less comfortable to walk in than some. They’ve got some nice features, though, including drawcords at the ankles ...

Sprayway Stella

£20.00

A tall, slim and lightweight pack that only costs an unbelievable £20. Features are kept to a minimum, although it boasts two pockets in the lid, a zipped pocket inside, and two side mesh pockets that will take a water bottle. The main compartment is long and narrow, with a single-buckle lid and drawcord closure. It’s a nicely styled pack ...

Sprayway Compass (male)/Escape (female) 2011

£30.00

The fabric used in the Sprayway Compass / Escape shorts is two-way stretch so they are great if you struggle with getting a good fit. There is also stretch in the waist so again these can expand around  a tubby tum or hug a neater waistline. There is no belt provided but you get belt loops in case you want ...

Sprayway Equinox Zip

£35.00

The coconut-derived fabric in this top gives it something of a rough edge that can be a problem if used for long periods, with chafing becoming a bit of an issue. It is great at wicking away moisture during regular activity, although there is a bit of a problem with the collar – the double-layered fabric making it effective during ...

Sprayway Discover Long-Sleeve Tech Tee base layer

£35.00

A lovely top – casual looking and comfortable enough against the skin, although it doesn’t match the silkiness of some. It deals with odour well, helped by the excellent Cocona fabric (made from activated carbon of recycled coconut shells). It also wicked efficiently and dried quickly, so it never felt clammy, even on a climb. The fit is quite casual, ...

Sprayway Mori

The cargo pockets will easily hold a map.   Colours: Cement, caper, marron brownSizes: 30-40in waist; short (29in) and regular (32in) leg lengthFabric: BambooMain features: Two open front ...

Sprayway Nevada Pant

£45.00

These lightweight trousers from Sprayway come with a flexible elasticated waist and belt loops, which make them a pretty versatile fit. However, the actual cut is a bit too baggy. The feel of the fabric is great, though. Bagginess aside, they do a fine job on the hill, keeping showers at bay better than most, and drying faster too. The ...

Sprayway Inca

£30.00

These Sprayway Inca women’s shorts need a belt ideally. The tough but lightweight stretch fabric and simple, attractive styling are comfortable, flattering and good for movement. The brushed fabric inner waistband is comfortable too. Cool and quick-drying, these may be a little too lightweight for all but the hottest days. A back pocket would be good too.
