Lovely and snug with soft, rustle-free fabric and fleece-lined collar. Has a wonderfully deep hood, too, but it was really hard to do up properly. An attractive jacket which will keep you totally dry. This soft shell jacket’s Gore Windstopper fabric is very wind- and water-resistant and hard-wearing; insulated shoulders and sides; extra-breathable armpits; rollaway hood. But small chest pocket; relatively heavy at 682g; high price tag; pockets easily obstructed by hipbelts or climbing harness; hood movement not ideal.
