But the best boil time is only available with a fresh gas canister; heavier than less stable options; windshield costs £9 extra.

For the price you get a fair whack of camping stove with the Thermo Pro, and the speed at which it will bring a pan of water to the boil is right up there with the best. It’s extremely straightforward (apart from that windshield – see below), with three wide pan supports that click out into place with ease. That ...
