A lovely boot with a tough yet attractive leather and Cordura upper and a really solid toebox and heel counter. The lacing works well and the tall ankle cuff, combined with a fairly stiff midsole, makes it very stable on rough and uneven ground – it’s definitely at its best in the hills and mountains. The sole unit provides good traction and plenty of shock absorption and the Gore-Tex lining keeps water on the outside.
