A very narrow boot, and it definitely needs careful trying on before buying, but it absolutely oozes quality. It’s a little less stiff than some, but still plenty supportive enough for rougher ground; and as you’d expect, the Gore-Tex liner kept water out no matter what. Overall, it’s a superb boot but the red nubuck upper is likely to appeal to less walkers than the more neutral nubuck.
