The Zamberlan Steep GT features a leather upper; Gore-Tex waterproof lining; stiff toe box for foot protection; good sole unit lug pattern for grip in mud; reasonable stiffness for general hill-walking; double stitching on upper for increased durability. But 1904g (pair, size 11) is relatively heavy for a boot that is not as stiff as some lighter boots.
The Zamberlan Steep GT is good but relatively heavy for its level of support, however it’s still worth considering for hill-walkers as it may fit better than other options.
