Typically of Zamberlan the Koala GT is a very robust children’s boot that is built to tackle tougher terrain than most. The upper offers good support and protection with a good stiff toe box and heel cup. Underfoot too there is good stiffness to take the strain out of rocky terrain. A waterproof lining is also included. But the outsole is not quite as aggressive as it could be for the worst of terrain. Other options are lower in price and lighter too, while some reflective trim would be useful at night and simpler upper constructions may be more durable.
