The Vasque Velocity VST multi-activity shoe weighs 1016g (pair, size 11); Gore-Tex waterproof lining; extremely aggressive pattern of lugs ideal for mud; good for trail running and general walking; sole flex is softer and less cushioned than 2008 model. But very soft toe box; others are better for climbing and offer more general support for walking on rocky ground; other running shoes are lighter and more responsive.
Verdict: The Vasque Velocity VST is a good trail running shoe, but others may be preferred for more general outdoor use.
