A broader-fitting, well-padded boot that due to its lower ankle cuff and soft midsole is better for use on easier ground. The Gore-Tex liner kept water out and breathed well. The lacing worked well – it’s good to see a flat lace for a change – and the Vibram Ecostep sole, which is manufactured from offcuts to reduce waste, worked well enough on a mixture of surfaces. A lot of money for a softer boot, though.
