The Euro Hiker is a lightweight boot with a low ankle cuff, yet the midsole’s reasonably stiff so it provides some support on rougher ground. It’s the only boot in the men’s selection that doesn’t have a waterproof lining, relying instead on waterproof leather. It did a good job during the test but water did get in over the low ankle cuff. The lacing doesn’t extend very low on the foot, and this makes it harder to get a stable fit than some. Decent value if you don’t want a waterproof lining.
