The Timberland Chocorua weighs 1208g (pair, size 11); Gore-Tex waterproof lining; leather upper panels for extra durability; good underfoot cushioning; reasonable outsole lug pattern; up to size 15 for men and size 11 women’s. But very flexible sole unit and very flexible upper, so not ideal for rocky ground.

Verdict: The Timberland Chocorua is a very flexible boot that is best restricted to grass and valley paths rather than more rugged terrain.
