These multi-activity shoes from Scarpa feel great straight from the box, and the soft mesh uppers mould comfortably around your foot. The ankles are quite low, which helps keep your feet cool, but makes them slightly less supportive than some over really rough ground. They don’t need much lacing to keep them secure, though, and your feet stay comfortable in them all day. Despite being lightweight, there’s good stiffness in the midsole, which gives good support over all but the roughest surfaces. The outsole is really grippy on both rock and grass, and doesn’t feel out of place for general casual wear, either. They’re exceptionally breathable, with great sporty looks.
