Scarpa Infinity

£120.00

LFTO rating rating is 3
Owners' rating rating is 4

Well-placed padding make these feel superb when you first pull them on, but they’re quite narrow and difficult to lace tightly, resulting in painful toe banging on descent. A good medium-stiff midsole and nice high cuff should have made them very stable, but the fabric panel directly above the ankle bone is a little too soft and doesn’t offer the best support.

Colour: Rope/stone
Sizes: 7-13 (UK), 41-48 (‘Euro)
Upper: Suede/Cordura
Waterproof/breathable lining: Gore-Tex
Sole: Integra
Weight: 1,320g
Women’s version: Yes
Contact: 0191 296 0212, www.scarpa.co.uk

Verdict: Well-made, stylish fabric walking boots that will do a job in the hills, but don’t offer as much support as some of the other models at a similar price and weight.

All the things said the the Country Walking review may be true, but if you have Scarpa feet you will love this boot. I have been using these as a 3 season boot for the last 2 years. Lack of grip on ice prevents them from stretching to a 3-4 season boot though.
