A well-padded boot that feels great from the box. It’s quite a chunky boot, with a very high ankle cuff, but it’s not too heavy, and the lacing is excellent, making it really easy to get a stable fit. It struggled a little for grip in softer conditions, but it did well on rock. It has an excellent toe box and heel counter and a Gore-Tex lining makes sure your feet stay dry. Note: most walkers will probably need to go up half a shoe size in this boot.
