I have had the Mid version of this shoe for nearly a year, it has seen daily use around East England’s lowland rivers, as well as the Peak District, Brecon Beacons and the length of the Pembrokeshire coastal path. The fit of the boot is on the narrow side, although for me that is a blessing rather than a curse and it’s been comfortable straight from the box. It is what you would expect from a lightweight boot, flexible sole unit and upper. The sole provides good traction on wet mud and grass, although it’s not so good on wet rock and you can sometimes feel rocks through the sole. The upper is not as waterproof as it could be; walking through wet grass your feet get wetter quicker than they should.
The durability of the boot has in general been OK for the level of walking they have done. Some of the stitching around the toe box has started to go and they have suffered from scrapes and scuffs when used on rockier terrain.
As a lightweight boot I can’t fault it too much it they are very comfortable as long as you steer clear of too much rocky terrain.
