These three-season leather boots from Regatta are very broad, but rather short, resulting in plenty of toe banging. They’re well padded, but the very low ankle cuff feels less supportive than most. With a low ankle cuff and very little midsole support, the traditionally styled Outcrop leaves your feet feeling vulnerable on all but the very best paths. A fiddly tongue makes them awkward to put on too.

Verdict: A lightweight full-leather boot that is really only suited to very easy, low-level walking. Even then, there are much better boots around for the money.
