These three-season boots from Regatta are a little short in the toe, but are a good width. The compact, modern design and the comfort offered by the padded ankle cuff and tongue are excellent. They are low-cut, which will suit some, and have a good lacing system that ensures a good, stable fit. Having a reasonably stiff midsole, these boots provide a good amount of support over soft terrain, although the ankle cuff is a little low to take them too high up the mountain. They’re nice and lightweight though, and the Isotex lining works well to keep your feet dry. The sole provides good shock absorption and grip on all surfaces.
