The Merrell Chameleon EVO Gore-Tex XCR multi-activity shoe weighs 1032g (pair, size 11); rubber rand around toes; durable suede and synthetic upper; Vibram sole unit; waterproof Gore-Tex lining; good cushioning; decent stiffness for general use, walking, travel, biking and camping. But upper a bit soft around toes; no heel breast limits traction of outsole.

Verdict: The Merrell Chameleon EVO Gore-Tex XCR is a good shoe for general use, but nothing outstanding and others have more benefits.
