The Chameleon’s soft suede and mesh uppers will accommodate a variety of foot shapes, there’s plenty of room at the toes, and a good heel cup holds the feet firmly in place. The lacing system is good too, they’ve got a good amount of stiffness in the midsole – enough to provide great support over rough ground – and a Vibram sole provides great shock absorption and grip, especially on dry, rocky ground. They’re very breathable with a Gore-Tex XCR lining for waterproof protection.
