Meindl Magic Junior Mid 2011

£45.00

LFTO rating rating is 2

The Meindl Magic Junior Mid is a well-proven boot costing £5 more this year, but it retains all its great features. There is good stiffness in the sole and upper to protect the growing younger foot. A rubber rand at the toe should increase the durability of the stiffened toe box. Underfoot there is a reasonably grippy lug pattern for mud.  But the Meindl Magic Junior Mid has a lower-cut ankle than some others, so it does not offer quite the level of protection it could. While the boot has good stiffness it is possible to find some that are stiffer and therefore better for rockier ground. As there is no waterproof lining this does leak far easier than others.

Upper velour leather and mesh
Sole Meindl MTH Junior

The Meindl Magic Junior Mid is a low-cut boot that is ideal for valley paths, but a waterproof lining would make it better in the wet.
