A great-looking boot made from tough, nubuck leather. The fit is really supportive – they’ve got a good women’s last that holds the foot in place and a high ankle cuff to protect from knocks and sprains. They’ve also got a great lacing system which uses a locking eyelet so you can get a comfortable fit right across your foot. They’ve got a very stiff midsole which makes them well-suited to rocky, uneven terrain. Meindl’s own sole gives great shock absorption to help keep your feet feeling good on long walks, and it grips well, too. There’s a rubber toe bumper, and a reinforced panel at the heel. Have a Gore-Tex lining to keep your feet dry.
