A lovely, well-padded yet rugged boot that is best-suited to wider feet. Very high ankle cuff and excellent lacing and so offers plenty of support and a very stable fit – ideal for higher level walking. The midsole is of medium stiffness, making it quite a versatile boot, but the tread pattern didn’t cope with softer going as well as some.
It has a tough toebox and heel counter, and a Gore-Tex lining keeps the water out. Excellent value for money.
