Plus the pulley lacing system and locking eyelets make it easy to get a perfect fit. The midsole is stiff, but an easy rolling action seems to spur your feet forward, making them wonderful to walk in. They excelled in the mix of rocky and boggy terrain of the Welsh mountains. The chunky Vibram sole grips well on rock, while the well-spaced lugs make easy work of mud.
