A classically styled walking shoe, with a solid sole. The Toscas are great for general walking purposes, with a solid base to put your feet on. The Monowrap sole extends up either side of the foot around the arch and adds a crucial bit of stability. It really comes into its own later on during longer day-walks and on uneven terrain. The shoes also provide just enough shock absorption on hard ground. With the Gore-Tex lining and bellowed tongue, they keep your feet better weather-protected than others, even if that does mean they are a bit warmer and less breathable. The deep lugs on the sole provide decent grip on slightly softer ground and are fairly well spaced to clear mud.
