Lowa Tibet Pro 2010

£210.00

LFTO rating rating is 3

The Lowa Tibet Pro is an exceptionally tough boot that is made to tackle the worst that mountains can throw at you. So it has a full leather upper with a Gore-Tex lining. The upper is stiff and supportive and well-protected by a full rubber rand for the rockiest of terrain. The ankle cuff is particularly high for those who prefer maximum ankle protection on rock or snow. The outsole is very stiff and ideal for a mix of rocky terrain and snowy ascents with or without crampons. The outsole also has a good, deep pattern of lugs that are widely spaced, so they can provide grip without getting clogged with mud. This is a great boot for heavy backpacking on a regular basis in the roughest of terrain. But the Lowa Tibet Pro’s price is a little high compared to what else is available. So you need to decide if you really need all that extra performance. You are getting a higher ankle cuff, top-quality leather and a full rubber rand and you may not actually need that level of performance unless you are a hardcore user. There are lighter and lower-priced options that are probably functional enough for many walkers.

The Lowa Tibet Pro offers superb performance and quality for those who need an extremely durable and supportive boot, but the price is high.
