The Lowa Khumbu GTX Mid weighs 1672g (pair, size 11); suede and synthetic fabric upper; Gore-Tex waterproof lining; good Vibram sole unit with widely spaced, fairly deep lugs; good sole stiffness. But a high price for a fabric rather than a full leather boot; some boots have a slightly more aggressive lug pattern and a deep heel breast for better grip; a leather upper may be more durable.
The Lowa Khumbu GTX Mid is a good general walking boot for valley, moorland and easier hill paths, but slightly overpriced compared to others.
