These fabric boots from Lafuma are a sloppy fit – too loose at the toe and not enough support for your arches. However, they are comfortable enough for low-level walks and offer a good amount of ankle support. The rubber sole offers plenty of grip and shock absorption, and the Gore-Tex-lined uppers keeps your feet dry. The reinforced toe and heel are good, and offer good protection from knocks and scrapes.

Verdict: A fairly priced boot that will keep your feet dry and comfortable on low-level walks. Best suited to wider feet and those who don’t like, or need, too much ankle support.
