This multi-activity shoe features a fabric upper for breathability; leather reinforcement around upper; solid toe box for protection; stiff heel cup for support; good cushioning; Vibram sole unit; reasonably stiff sole for rocky paths. But sole does not have the controlled smooth flex of some shoes, making this feel a little ‘clumpy’; outsole lug pattern is quite shallow, so not ideal for mud.
