A 3-season boot that features eVent waterproof lining; rubber toe bumper for extra durability; solid toe box for foot protection; Vibram sole unit; good stiffness and cushioning for rocky mountain paths; synthetic and suede upper keeps price down. But is not as durable as full leather; some boots have a more aggressive outsole lug pattern.

Verdict: Buy it if you want a good quality low-priced valley, hill, moor and mountain walking and backpacking boot.

One the whole they're fine. The eVent waterproof lining was no protection agaginst a wet, very wet autumn day in Iceland. I find these somewhat narrow across the metatarsel-head area, especially after about 5 miles. Good points - Lacing is easy to adjust and holds the foot well on downhill slopes. Supportive around the ankle area.
