The Hi-Tec V-Lite Thunder weighs 864g (pair, size 11); ion-mask treated mesh upper provides water resistance; well-cushioned sole; reasonable outlug pattern for tracks; some toe protection; good sole flex for running; good price. But not waterproof; once water enters it cannot escape easily; not most durable on rocky terrain or most grippy in mud.
The Hi-Tec V-Lite Thunder is a good running shoe that could be used for walking, but others perform equally well.
