A bit of a hybrid between a multi-activity shoe and a full-on walking boot, but much closer to the boot end of the spectrum than it is the shoe, with a semi-stiff midsole and some good protection for the toe. The fit’s quite roomy, and with only two speed-lacing eyelets each side of the cuff, it’s not so easy to get a stable fit with a slimmer foot. It’s nice to walk in but is a little shorter at the ankle than most.
