These three-season boots from Grisoft are instantly comfortable, and can be worn on a big walk straight from the box, with no breaking in. The lacing system ensures your feet stay comfortably in place, and they have just the right amount of room across the toes. Quite soft boots which flex easily, in the right place, and provide a good amount of ankle support. The lacing system, which keeps your feet secure, is excellent, but the midsole is a little too flexible for comfort over rocky ground. However, the waterproof lining works well and the chunky sole grips well on most types of terrain.

Verdict: Despite being a unisex design, these boots offer a good fit and are very comfortable. A great price, but watch out for the leather uppers, which look pretty ragged after a few wears.

I loved these boots, they were a great fit and comfortable from the box and I had been happily recommending them until I discovered, after 12 months that the sole of the left boot was cracked and split in several places. The deepest cracked almost through to my foot! Somewhat alarmed I contacted Gisport customer service dept. they were completely disinterested, offered no opinion or advice. Bought some Scarpa boots instead.

I have using these boots for a couple of months now and have been quite pleased with them. They were bought originaly for use on local paths in winter because the leather uppers would be easier to wash the mud off than my usual fabric mids but found that they worked well on the Dales hills. They are very soft/flexible but as most of my footwear is like that it was not a problem to let my feet work.Tha biggest letdown was the insole and I suffered quite a bit of heel strike coming down a stoney track above Kettlewell so the insole was replaced with a Hi-Tec insole from our local Yeomans and the improvement was very noticable. All in all a reasonable lightweight leather boot if you don't want a stiff boot and the price is very acceptable.
