This is a unisex boot so some women may find it hard to get a good fit, especially as the lacing system on its own isn’t good enough to provide proper support. Also the sizing is on the large side. They’ve got a lovely high, supportive ankle cuff which inspires confidence on rough terrain, and helps keep water out. The Vibram sole grips well, especially on rock, and the waterproof lining will keep your feet dry. The leather uppers looked quite scuffed after a few outings and will require TLC.
