These sandals from Brasher are really comfortable straight from the box, courtesy of neoprene-lined straps and cushioned suede footbeds. The straps hold your feet perfectly in place, and the two attachment points provide plenty of support. The soft leather straps, grippy rubber sole and protective raised toe bumper make these really good for walking. They cope well on uneven terrain.

Verdict: A comfortable, tough and secure walking sandal, with a unique style that some will love. The leather uppers make them best suited to dry trails.
