A generous fit and the tricky lacing system makes it difficult to get a really snug fit. They are still comfortable, though, with excellent ankle support and nice soft cuffs. A stiff boot with a chunky rubber sole that gives good grip and shock absorption on rocky ground, and a Gore-Tex lining that is completely waterproof. A little heavy and clumsy, though.

Verdict: Tough and worth a look if you have broad feet. Rather warm and heavy for summer use or low-level walks, but the Gore-Tex lining will certainly keep your feet dry.

Great boot, still going strong after large amounts of use, lasted all my gold d of e, ml training days post and after training and general other use, lace system is tricky to use, but provides great ankle support, well worth its money an my next boots will be the same again
