Brasher Chichon

£50.00

LFTO rating rating is 6

The Brasher Chichon has won Trail’s children’s boot test for a number of years. It boasts a Gore-Tex waterproof lining and a well-built upper and sole for maximum foot protection. There’s also a dash of reflective trim for night or road walks. The exceptionally aggressive lug pattern is ideal for mud.  But a full leather upper would be more durable in the long term, but I suspect the child will grow out of these before they wear out so this is not a major issue. There are lower-priced options of course, but they don’t offer the features of the Chichon.

Upper suede and textile, Gore-Tex
Sole REVAlution Flex Sole, EVA cushioning
Sizes 12-6
Weight 820g (pair, size 2)
Made in China
Stores in the UK 60

Verdict: The Brasher Chichon is a quality children’s boot for kids who want to leave the valley and explore the rockier and muddier hills and mountains. It won ‘Best in Test’.
