£65.00
The Blacks Kilimanjaro weighs 1360g (pair, size 8); Sympatex waterproof lining; full leather upper for maximum durability; good toe box stiffness; very good sole stiffness for rocky ground; excellent for price. But it’s not as well-cushioned as higher-priced boots; comparatively low ankle cuff.
Verdict: If £65 is your budget then the Blacks Kilimanjaro is very hard to beat for hill-walking, but a higher price brings better performance.
