Berghaus W Explorer Leather GTX

These three-season boots from Berghaus are, initially, another very comfortable boot with a soft but supportive upper that fits snugly around my feet. They might prove a bit narrow after a long day in the hills, with not quite enough room in the toe, but your heels stay comfortable all day and the lacing system ensures your feet stay in place. Wonderfully lightweight, the Explorers perform incredibly well in all conditions. They have a nice streamlined design and the leather uppers and soft ankle cuffs provide plenty of support for all types of terrain. Despite the Gore-Tex lining they aren’t too warm, and the cushioning in the sole is good. The reflective tape on the upper is a novel touch.
