A 3-season boot that features a Gore-Tex XCR waterproof lining, which is more breathable than standard Gore-Tex; solid toe box; very supportive heel cup; exceptionally stiff Vibram sole unit makes this useful for scramblers and via ferrata. But outsole lug pattern is very shallow and so not ideal for mud or long lifespan; the upper may not be as durable as a simple all leather design; sole is so stiff that others may be more comfy away from rocky ground.
