Reassuringly snug around the whole foot. Quite stiff so feel very supportive, even on rough terrain, and the lacing works well, ensuring they remain comfortable and stable. Reinforced toe and heel does a great job of guarding feet from scrapes and bumps, and the excellent shock absorption at the heel keeps feet feeling fresh all day. Heavier than most, but a streamlined design makes them feel agile and versatile. The excellent support they offer makes them ideal for UK walking, with an easy rolling action in the sole. Look too good to get dirty!
