Feel light on the feet, with a really secure fit that feels lovely to walk in. They’re great looking boots, made from rich looking full-grain leather, and have a lovely chunky sole. A good lacing system and locking eyelet will make it easy to get a good fit across your foot. The ankle cuff is less supportive than some, and the midsole is more flexible. This makes them feel lighter, but also makes them better-suited to easier, less rugged, terrain. The Vibram sole gives good shock absorption and they grip really well on rock (less so in mud). Unfortunately there’s no rubber toe bumper, but they have a Gore-Tex lining to keep your feet dry.
