This hydration system’s feedpipe is insulated with a sleeve to prevent freezing in cold weather. I also like the locking bite valve that prevents drips from when the valve is inadvertently squeezed. The taste test was good too. The bladder is filled through a relatively small screw cap, and a small valve allows the bladder to drip dry when inverted. Under our tests there were no leaks under a 20kg load. But the small drip valve could easily be accidentally opened so care is needed when packing your rucksack. The main drawback is the small screw opening, which does not allow easy cleaning.
