Origo Rendezvous Peak 2009

£119.00

LFTO rating rating is 5
Owners' rating rating is 0

Light, comfy the Origo Rendezvous Peak is a great watch that’s a cinch to find your way around. You can scroll different modes or use the hot buttons to take you directly to either Compass or Altitude: a great feature that required far less faffing. The weather indicator is an easy-to-read symbol, and the buttons work very well with gloves. Compass features a bearing lock. But the seconds reading is as large as the minutes reading and that looks rather odd. It also doesn’t tally with the seconds counter that sweeps around the perimeter of the display face.

Screen size 30mm diameter
Weight 70g
Features altitude range -700m to 9000m, waterproof rating 50m, digital compass, weather prediction, temperature range -25 to  60 deg C

Verdict: The Origo Rendezvous Peak really feels right. It’s easy to use, intuitive, and has everything you need and nothing that you don’t, which makes it a very good-value option. Everything you need with no gimmicks. It took the ‘Best Value’ award in our test.
