The Mountain King Super Trekker pole is a good, lightweight pole for the price. Powder-coated lower sections aid grip on rough terrain and there’s a comfy handle and good strap tension. They’re a nice bright colour too, so you won’t lose them in the grass. Lighter than most with good twist-lock mechanism and straps, but you may find them a little short for tall folk.

Verdict: A good all-round pole and quite lightweight, too. However, there are better options for the money.
