Proved both light and strong. They also extend to a hefty 135cm – useful for taller walkers, although this does make the pack-down length a bit longer than desirable. The EVA grips are comfortably contoured and stretch down the top 20cm of the shafts – ideal for short, steep traverses – and the straps are both easy to adjust and soft against the back of the hand.
