The Mammut Lucido TXLite weighs 78g; 1 x hiFlux LED; max burn time 130 hours; 41metre max beam; 3 x AAA battery supply; tilting head that has reasonable friction lock; operating button can be locked to prevent accidental operation. But battery housing is terribly designed for fitting in the dark as you can almost fit the cover on upside down which results in it falling off; it’s also not easy to open battery cover in the dark.
Verdict The Mammut Lucido TXLite’s poor battery housing design lets this otherwise reasonable campers’ and walkers’ headtorch.
