The front is opaque and the design is definitely crop-top rather than bra, allowing it to be worn as a top, plus it has a UV protection rating of 20. The shoulder seams are, very importantly, flat and well off the shoulder tops, avoiding backpack rub. The back has air-mesh fabric for a venting effect when wearing a pack. The Dryflo R fabric also wicks moisture effectively and dries out fast. But the top is quite low-cut, which should be borne in mind if you don’t want to draw too much attention to your boobs.
